What happens if a driver loses their tag?
You deactivate the lost tag instantly from the platform and issue a new one. The vehicle won't start with a deactivated tag.
Does the immobiliser work with electric vehicles?
Yes. Our CAN Bus immobiliser is compatible with electric vehicles, including plug-in hybrids and full EVs.
Does the immobiliser work alongside Traknova's GPS tracker?
Yes. The immobiliser and GPS tracker are managed from the same Traknova platform. You can see where a vehicle is and disable it from the same screen
Does theWhat's the difference between a relay immobiliser and a CAN bus immobiliser?
A relay immobiliser interrupts the vehicle's starter circuit. A CAN bus immobiliser integrates directly with the vehicle's onboard computer, making it significantly harder to bypass. We recommend CAN bus for higher-value vehicles or fleets at greater risk of targeted theft.
